Get Ahead of
the Competition.
There is a shift taking place around physical therapy, wellness, healthy aging, social-prescription and community-based care.
The question isn't whether these changes are coming. They're already here.
The ground around physical therapy is changing.
These aren't isolated trends. Put them together and they begin pointing toward a very different opportunity for independent practices.
Traditional reimbursement remains under pressure.
Practices continue looking for ways to diversify revenue beyond traditional insurance-dependent care.
Major companies are moving into wellness.
Consumer and healthcare companies continue investing in wellness, fitness, prevention and longevity.
Health is becoming more social.
Group activity, social connection and community participation are increasingly being recognized as meaningful parts of health.
People want more than treatment.
People want practical ways to move, remain active, maintain independence and function better in everyday life.
The population is getting older.
Millions more adults will need accessible ways to maintain mobility, strength, balance and confidence as they age.
People are already paying for wellness.
Consumers increasingly spend outside traditional healthcare on fitness, recovery, wellness and healthy aging.
Physical therapists are unusually well positioned for this shift.
We understand movement.
We understand function.
We already have facilities in our communities.
And we already have relationships with people who want to remain active and capable long after traditional care ends.
Gyms. Boutique fitness. Wellness companies. Online programs. Longevity businesses. Corporate wellness brands.
So here's the question:
What if your clinic became more than the place people came when something hurt?
What if it became the place they stayed connected to because it helped them keep moving, functioning and living well?
CALATA
Community
Movement.
Community.
More Capacity for Life.
Build the relationship that happens after—and outside—traditional PT.
CALATA Community is a clinic-based functional longevity community designed to give people an ongoing place to learn, move, connect and build greater capacity for everyday life.
Guided Movement
Accessible movement experiences designed around real people—not hardcore fitness.
Body Awareness
Helping people recognize unnecessary effort, tension and protective patterns while they move.
Community Connection
A reason for people to keep returning, participating and building relationships inside your clinic.
Real-World Application
Moving beyond exercises into how people move, work, exercise, breathe and respond to everyday life.
If you help establish CALATA in your community, I don't want to put another CALATA clinic right beside you.
Qualifying Founding Clinics will receive a Protected Geographic Market surrounding their location.
Once your protected market is established, that territory comes off the table for another CALATA Community clinic.
Your territory will be defined individually based on your clinic location, population, local market, reasonable drive area and surrounding communities.
*Only a certain number of locations will be protected to start.
This is not simply an arbitrary mileage radius. A market in a dense city is very different from a suburban or rural community. We will define a territory that makes sense for both the clinic and the long-term CALATA network.
This isn't about adding another exercise class.
Anyone can put ten people in a room and teach exercises. That's not the opportunity.
A Class
Build an ongoing community people identify with and want to remain part of.
More Treatment
Create a bridge between rehabilitation, healthy aging, functional movement and everyday life.
More Owner Work
Install a repeatable model rather than asking the owner to invent, teach, market and manage another program from scratch.
Because the advantage disappears once everybody sees it.
I don't believe independent PT needs another marketing tactic.
I believe there's an opportunity to expand what a physical therapy practice means to its community.
And clinics that begin building that relationship early may establish something difficult to reproduce later: trust, membership, community and position.
I'm looking for five clinics to help establish the first CALATA Community markets.
And because geographic protection is part of the model, where those first clinics are located matters.
If you're curious about CALATA, the Founding Clinic opportunity and whether your market is still available, I'll show you more.
dddddddd
No obligation. We'll determine whether CALATA and your market are a good fit before moving forward.
